HOW IS THE PROCESS FOR THE EMBROIDERY SERVICE?
WHAT IS A EMBROIDERY FILE DIGITIZING PROCESS?
Embroidery file digitizing is the process of converting artwork, such as a logo or design, into a digital embroidery file that an embroidery machine can read and stitch onto fabric. This process involves using specialized embroidery digitizing software to map out stitch types, directions, densities, and sequences to ensure the design stitches out correctly.
Different embroidery machines require specific file formats, such as DST, PES, JEF, EXP, and XXX, among others. The digitizing process is not automatic; it requires skill to create a high-quality design that stitches cleanly without excessive thread breaks or puckering.
DIGITIZING FEE. Digitizing fees begin at $35.00 for chest or cap locations. Large designs (full front or back) may range from $80 to $100, depending on design complexity. Original digitizing is a one-time fee, but if edits are needed later, a $25 edit fee will apply. Photocopies, pen/pencil drawings, business cards, and letterheads are not ideal for digitizing, although the Company can still digitize these. The quality of the final design depends on the quality of the original material provided.
